As a child, Jodie loved to create and draw other times or worlds. She used to read book and watch movies, loving the way she could lose herself in the feelings  It is probably why she went to Boise State University and earned her bachelors degree in theater arts.

Jodie served in the USAF and was stationed in England as well as several states here in the US. Her involvement in the military allowed her to see and do things most will not understand or believe. She also puts part of her and her beliefs and morals in all of her works.

She uses some her personal history to give truth to her writing. She uses places she has been or lived and intermingles real conversation to bring life to her work.

Jodie is the proud mother of Kyle (son) and Krysta (daughter), Moose (horse), and her various pets. She is grateful for her husband who inspires and supports her, loves vintage cars, antiques, STAR WARS, cosplay (especially for charity), traveling, wine tastings, and animals.
